Hi, I’m Madeleine but everyone calls me Maddy. I’m a mum of two little ones, aged three and one. Like many parents, I spend a lot of time creating activities for my children from DIY projects to thoughtfully choosing toys I know they’ll genuinely use and love.

Magnetic Craft, however, began from a very personal place. When my son was three, he hadn’t yet reached some of his developmental milestones. After visiting his paediatrician, we learned he was experiencing delays in speech and communication due to mild hearing loss. That season felt heavy, confusing, and deeply emotional. I often felt helpless but alongside that was a strong desire to do something.

Starting a toy business was never part of the plan. Magnetic Craft began simply as a way to support my son to encourage learning through play, strengthen fine motor skills, and create moments of connection without pressure or frustration. What started as a way to turn pain into purpose slowly grew into something more. You may notice some of his photos featured throughout the website small reminders of the journey that started it all.

Fast Forward to Today

After undergoing grommet surgery and spending time playing with magnetic blocks, my son’s speech flourished, and he reached milestones we once worried he might miss. Witnessing this transformation has been incredibly heart warming, and it’s the reason I continue to create and share toys that inspire learning, spark creativity, and bring joy to families.

Today, Magnetic Craft is for parents like me parents who want toys that feel meaningful, calming, and genuinely helpful. Toys that invite children to explore at their own pace, build confidence quietly, and feel proud of what they create. I believe play should feel safe, open ended, and joyful never rushed or forced.

Every product is tested in our home, in real moments filled with mess, patience, laughter, and learning. Magnetic Craft is built on love, resilience, and the belief that every child’s journey is different and that sometimes, the smallest hands create the biggest breakthroughs.
